“It would have been impossible to imagine a better soloist for Beethoven’s only violin concerto than the 24-year-old Armenian violinist Diana Adamyan. She has already won prestigious prizes in her international career and is one of the leading artists in her field. Gentle and sensitive, she brilliantly mastered even the difficult top notes, which fell crystal clear like stars from the sky. With modesty and restraint, she gave in to the request for an encore, played with incredible virtuosity... The audience waited in vain for more but she seemed to have gone. She will not, however, be forgotten.”
